    Can my daughter who is a u s citizen derivatively file for green card for her mother?
    My daughter will be filing for citizenship by derivation. She was under 18 when her father naturalised. She will be applying for a US passport next week. Can she then file for a green card for me?

    Her father and I are divorced. She became a u s citizen when her father was sworn in and she was under 18 and was a legal resident last year march.

    Yes, she can petiton for you. You qualify as an IR.
