    Military bonuses and taxes
I got paid 5,000 dollar bonus this year and they taxed 1,300 out of it, does bonuses show up on w-2's? I don't think it did on mine! Can I get any of that money back?

Yes, you must report the income and tax withheld. Employer must report it on some Form.

    Eddie:

Compare the final figure in Box #1 with your pay as specified by the pay table for your rank and time in service.

I think you will find that the bonus has been added to your Box #1 salary.
