How to switch my j1 to student visa -i found already a school
Please help, my j1 visa will expire this Aug 2010 and I would like to change it to Student visa, I would like to enroll in a Community College here in Midwest. I believed it's possible but how long it will take? Can I just switch it without going back to my home country since I am not under the 212 E rule.
Can I apply for immigrant visa after my 2 year course? If ever my student visa approved.
    Need professional help, thanks!

You can file for change of status to student... enroll in school first and admission officer will explain what you have to do... good luck.
