    Need Info On A Quick Divorce! In Florida
    After 29 yrs together we have decided to get a divorce, kids are all over 20 yrs old an gone. I own a house and a couple of cars. Can this be a mess or simple task? Can i just file myself without spending a lot of money?

    You can always file yourself but might get the shaft if you do so without a lawyer. I'd recommend hiring a lawyer.

    You mean both of your own a house and a couple of cars.

    But if both of you can agree on all the terms of property division, and both of you agree to the terms of the divorce, you both hire one attorney to fill out the paper work, in small town FL, it would cost you less than 400.00
    In larger city Fl, maybe closer to 600.00

    If both of you can't agree on property division, open up that check book and start writing.
