John deere mower l110 locked brake
    Hi
My name is Peter, I am a John Deere L110 owner from Australia, my mower has been in use now for several years and a wonderful job it does.
Just recently though I had been doing some mowing and finised for the day, I drove the mower back to the garage and applied the brake as I normally do, turned off the mower and went back to the house.
About a week later I was going to do some more mowing and started the engine with no difficulty and put my foot on the brake pedal to release the brake and could not release the brake. I have tried on several occasions since and are unable to release it.
Do you have any suggestions, the grass is getting very long.
I may need to pull the whole thing apart to find out how it works as I have no idea where the brake lever goes to or how it actually works as I have not got a parts manual to refer to.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Thanks Peter

Go to John deere parts catalog
Put in your model and look up parking brake,
Look at the rod that holds the brke lock up ,its common for this to stick.

Did you find an answer to your brake release problem? I have the same issue... as does my neighbor.
