    Dish network receiver connctions
    I disconnect my wires when I move my furnature, RECEIVER DE08, DE14, I am not sure if I put the correct wire in place, I have also the back three color wires red yellow black I am not sure alos I they are in the right place.

    The yellow, white, and red wires are for standard definition picture and stereo audio. They out from the receiver, in to your TV.

    As far as the other lines, you probably have 1-4 coax lines. One or two are probably paired together, those would be from your satellite. One of the others could be your home distribution system (box sends information to other TV(s)). And the other could be for antenna or cable channels. It depends on the setup.

    For the coax lines, you'll probably just have to move them around and test them.

Just out of curiousity, does anyone know why my dish network receiver makes a clicking noise few times during the day and night. It sounds like ti's powering on and off, but it does it when it's on and off. I was thinking maybe it's receiving update, but don't know.:confused: Thank you!
