Yes, that's normal and don't worry about her, she knows what to do. Just provide her with a good sturdy box and clean bedding. Have you given any thought to having her spayed in the future ? I hope you have homes for the kittens.

Yeah def getting her sprayed, that's how we found out she was pregnant lol. She's took to a quiet corner of the room with her blanket, does that mean the kittens are coming?

I would put a box in that corner she has chosen and put her blanket in it.
Cats like somewhere, nice and private and usually dark to give birth... don't disturb her too much, just put the box with the blanket there are leave it alone... you don't want her feeling crowded and ending up having her kittens in some impossible to reach place!

As for signs she is close to birth I have no idea sorry, I just know about caring for mum and kittens.

There are several very knowledgeable cat people on here so check back for more answers!

    Good luck!

Yes, that means she is ready so you can't disturb her now, but a few days after she has the kittens and she leaves them to do her business, then just transfer or lift the whole blanket and put it in a box to keep them warm. She won't leave them for quite a while after giving birth, she will be cleaning and eating up the afterbirth (I know gross, but this what mom cats do, so don't be alarmed !).
Most of all, don't touch any kittens she won't like your smell on them and may ignore their care.
Good luck katie ! We are here for you.
