    Furnace fan bearings
I have a Thermo Pride oil fired furnace. It sounds like the bearings have gone out in the blower motor. Can the bearings be replaced or do I need a new blower motor? I have a repair man coming tomorrow. Thank-you , Jim

If it is a belt drive and the shaft bearings are bad they can be replaced right at your home. If it is the motor bearings then usually they are replaced at a electric motor repair shop. Normally a new motor is installed instead.
