    Luxaire furnace troubleshooting
    I have a 2334 sg. Foot log home it has 2 3.50 ton units 1 of the units runs twice as much as the other.these are brand new units been in house less than year.Had the heat and air company back out to my house 4 times can't really tell me why they have closed down some vents at units didn't really help.1 unit runs 1 side of house 1 runs the other.this is a 2 story house.Any help would be great.

    The best suggestion I have is for you to find a HVAC company that knows what they are actually doing. Whenever they start to close registers it is an indication that the system was not designed properly to start with.

    They should have done a manual D and a Manual J on the home before they could quote you a price since those measurements dictate the actual size of the equipment (heat loss and heat gain) and the exact duct sizes and air flow requirements for every space in your home. Without this being done there is NO help available since I do not like to guess as they have done. All guessing does is create problems like you are having now.
