    Singapore uses 230 V/ 50 Hz power.

50 Hz requires more iron than 60 Hz and there is a CHANCE that it won't work even with a transformer.

The VT200 Guaranteed Low Prices on Step Up/Down Transformers,Step Up/Down Voltage Converters, Heavy Duty continuous use Step Up Voltage Transformers. Large Variety of 50 watts to 15,000 watts Step Up/Down Voltage Converters,220V Power converters, 220V transfor MAY work. It doesn't address the type of plug used in Sigapore either.
