How do i get my ex to let me go??
My ex and I recently broke up and it's been really difficult for me... the memories are a nightmare but I can't stop replaying in my head!and we have a son so that makes it even more difficult because he comes around most times. He's moved on but still expects me to carry on like we're still in a relationship,he expects us to be intimate... and me to fix him something to eat etc... when I refuse he gets upset.I've asked him "why won't you let me let you go"he says he'll never do that because he loves me and I'm his sons mom not just some random girl, and that we're not done, that we have to be together again later on!He makes it extremely impossible for me to heal and put everything behind me or at least try.

Right now I'm just caught up emotionally.I need some light a way out

If he has moved on then he can't love you or that's cheating on the person he is suppose to be with. Another thing is you need to be proactive and move this relationship to a business relationship. Also is there custody orders in place? If not then you need to go to court and get them along with support orders. You can exchange the child in a neutral place that way he doesn't have to come to your home and invade your space.

He is making you his hostage, and your going to have to escape him to be able to move on.

Start by setting some rules, no dropping in when he feels like it, and be ready to enforce those rules, either thru the court, or local law enforcement.

Refusing him is not enough, you have to be very willing to defend yourself from this bully, or he will not back off.
