    Nonresident claim dependent
    I am J2 worked with EAD card for 5 months in 2009, and I came USA at NOV. 1, 2008. I want fill form 1040nr. Can I claim my daughter (one chinese, one usa citizen) as my dependent? Thank you

    When did you enter the U.S.
    On nonresident tax return, you do not get exemption for your child.
