    Whistling Compressor Unit
Lately, my heat pump compressor sometime whistles when it starts up. Sometimes a softer whistle continues for an extended period. It is not consistent or constant and I do have heat. What can I expect when I call for service on this? I've had the compressor replaced and this one is only a few years old.
