    Need Help Immigration Fraud
    Please help me,

My friend has made a reckless decision to gain citizenship to the U.S.A. and I don't know what to do! She is Canadian and a lesbian, she is marrying a gay man that she just met a few months ago. They are getting married in L.A. in 2 weeks. I have called the U.S. consulate in town where I live in Canada to report the incident. However I am not sure how much they can do from here. I cannot contact USCIS from Canada by phone. I have given my information anonymously to the consulate. Who can I contact to help put an end to this horrible decision or prevent further damage before it gets out of hand? Everyone here is worried about her.

    Please help, time is short.

First I do understand it is illegal, but merely getting married to a US citizen does not give anyone any special citizenship rights, it may allow them to get a visa to come to the US and stay. But my understanding that is not hard for someone from Canada anyway.

Next they still have to apply and go though the entire process, I have two friends who are married to non citizens, one is from Japan, and the other Mexico, and both have been years still trying to get their citizenship.

Next warning her, but if you are really a friend, turning her into the officials does not really sound like something a friend does??
