Does he love me? In what way does he love me?
Bonjour :)
There's this boy, I know. We're close. As close as brother and sister. We're always spending time together. Laughing, joking. We're so close.
Not too long ago, he told me he loved me. So I told him the same. And we keep saying it to each other. We confide in each other everything. We're like best friends
These past few weeks, we've been in a play together. And we've been spending time back stage. Cuddling, hugging each other having a laugh.
We've even had a "I love you more!" argument jokey thing together, in which he claimed he loved me more than I would ever love him.
I'm not a pretty girl, I have a loving quirky personality, but that's about it. I don't know what he would see in me. He tells me, he likes someone else, and this other person knows, and they have kissed but are not seeing each other. But even after all this he still tells me he loves me.
Every time we speak online, he always says nighty night, I love you Mel, with lots of kissess. And every night, the amount of kissess grows. I've just checked my phone to find a text off him saying "I love you Mel, Good Night, Sweet Dreams X X X X X "
How do I feel? I love him to pieces. I would go out with him, but can I see someone who's like a brother to me? Would it be wrong?

Hi! Better confront the guy and ask for the HARD FACTS and the TRUTH. Ask him who he wants to marry YOU or HER?(this is too direct, you may opt for a more subtle way to ask).
It may happen that he is also confused, in this case just give him some time.
If it is too much you can bear, please find proffessional help (counsellors, psychologists, etc... )
In my case, I love a girl.. as I would love a big sister, because that's the thing I wanted most to have in life. But she just says we're brother and sister and remains very distant and hard to reach... That's really heartbreaking for me. It drives me mad! I firmly intend to discuss this with a psychologist. But I want to meet her and talk one on one if we ever get the chance to talk prior to meeting the psychologist.

Bonjour, well, I don't think asking who he wants to marry would help, as it's a bit too soon to be thinking about that kind of thing, we're both teens.
It's not too much to bear, I'd just like to know in what way love, does he feel. I have a feeling it could be just friendly love, but as time goes on, I really am starting to wonder. Is it normal for a friend to text you I love you every moment of the day, before you go to bed at night and when you wake up, with the amount of kisses growing?

Sometimes teen relationships develop into long lasting friendships.
Mostly teen romances don't last very long, there very intense and burn out, also, there is a lot of interference from other teens.
I suggest, you continue to be friends, for me,I would perfer a good friend for a long time, then a boyfriend for a short time,as least you know where you stand.
Try and build on yourself confidence, know that your are pretty and still growing.
Enjoy the friendship and take the pressure off by not expecting anything else.

I thought this would be interesting to discuss.
We all use love so much, we could say we love someone, then the next moment, we say we love our car, or wed love a big mac.
I was watching this interesting video, in which this guy explained that the hebrews had 3 words for love.
Raya- friendship...
