    In another country and found out I had a bench warrant in California.
    Hi I am in Another country. And just found out I have a bench warrant in California. Can I be arressted and sent back to Cali?

    No. But if you ever return to the USA you could be arrested at your entry point and California notified you are in custody. Then it would be up to California to determine if you are returned to their state or not. It could result in you being detained in jail for 2 or more weeks while they make this determination though.

    Well that is a maybe, most likely they will not unless the warrant is for a very serious felony and/or you are a very well known person and the case has made some news. Various nations have agreements to extridite back to the US. But normally this will not happen.

    What will happen if and when you come back, you will be detained and California will be given the chance to bring you back, if it is minor they may not but wait till you are caught closer to California.
