I will be moving from Arkansas to Tennessee in March. I was wanting some tips on how to make it less stressfull on my cat. I have thought about using a crate for her to ride inn. I was wondering about her litter and food? I have travelled with dogs and horses all over the south but this is the 1st time with a cat. All advice is welcomed. I have also talked to the vet who just said to crate her and get some stress free pills or spray but not to knock her out.

I haven't had to travel with a cat any further than across town, so can't help much there. (I suspect the crate is a good idea, and put something of yours in there and also any of her toys, etc.)

But for stress, a lot of people use Rescue Remedy. I'm not really sure the best place to actually buy it, but here is a page on it:

Wow... first off there is no need for drugging your cat. If you are using a uhaul to move then I would suggest placing her in the floor board of your cab in a basket so that she does not feel trapped. Unless she is one of those cats that go CRAZY in a car. I would stop every so often an place her on a leash like you would do a dog and let her do her business where there isn't a lot of people and traffic. Make sure she has a small bowl of food in or around her riding place. If she is a crazy cat in automobiles than I suggest a crate with food and litter. She should be fine with no medication depending on her regular stress patterns and age... Would you want to be sedated (even the least bit) and ride for hours?

Many states REQUIRE small animals to be crated or caged when traveling on highways.

And, since this user has already moved, rather or not he used any sort of anti-stress aid is a moot point.

Yes, it's an old thread so it's a moot point, but it isn't a "drug." It's just some natural flower stuff. And if I hated being in a car for hours and was going to go completely nuts, yeah, being sedated might be exactly what I'd want. If they have a crazy cat, how is putting them into a cage fully awake and freaked out going to help?
