    Help me solve this riddle PLEASE! I'm stumped!
    Can anyone solve this riddle...
    Something in the following phone conversation makes no sense. What is it?
    "may I speak to the manager, please?"
    "who may I say is calling"
    "Mr. Rominch"
    "Could you spell that name, please"
    Certainly. R as in Rome, O as in Oslo, M as in Madrid, I as in Innsbruck... "
    "I beg your pardon, I as in what?"
    "Innsbruck"
    "thanks. Please continue"
    " N as in Nome, C as in Cleveland, and H as in Helsinki."
    "thank you. I'll connect you now."

    I think the riddle is based on the heterographs of Nome and gnome which are pronounced the same way. Using either as part of a phonetic alphabet would be a very poor choice.
