Toilet cystern slow to fill up-fills up when we turn on tap
Hi When we flush our toilet it's fine but it does not fill properly until we turn on tap. If we are using shower when we flush toilet it makes a terrible noise as if there is air in the pipes. We have checked the water pressure on our combi boiler which seems fine. Can someone give us any advise please?

I'm confused. In your heading you tell me ,
toilet cystern slow to fill up-fills up when we turn on tap
But in your post you claim,
it does not fill properly until we turn on tap
Which is it? Does the fill slow down when you open a tap or does turning on a tap help it fill faster?
    Let me know, Tom

    Tom,
When you flush the cystern the fill is slow, you turn a tap on eithe hot or cold and then turn the tap off the cystern fills up quickly(normal speed)

Toilet slow to fill [ 3 Answers ]

At my inlaws last night I flushed the toilet. It fills very slowly and the other fixtures in the house lose pressure. Pressure returns once the tank fills. The toilet is at the end of the plumbing run. Any suggestions?
