    Multi focus lenses
    Can the mutifocal lens be purchased with a perscription and then taken back to the doctor who performing the cataract removal and the implanted lens. My doctor 's office says 2,500 dollars per eye. Can they be purchased for less of a price.

    Are you asking if you may purchase the lens from one doctor and put in by another? If so, No. I you are asking if you can have the surgery for less than $2,500--most likely, you just have to shop around. Make sure to focus more on reputation and experience of the doctor than his prices. There are always payment plans, Flexible spending plans, savings, the like...
