    My biological clock
I'm not sure exactly where to turn I'm 27 female and my biological clock has been keeping me up the last 2 weeks and it's recently started to turn into to depression I actually had a dream where me and my boyfriend had a child when I woke I felt more depressed then ever I would love to have a baby with my boyfriend some day but not now. I'm looking for others who have felt this way or maybe someone who can guide me to some kind of advice I've even thought of getting in touch with my psychiatrist and therapist about these feelings.

When thoughts like these are affecting your everyday life to a point where you are physically and emotionally drained, then yes, talk this out with your psychiatrist.

It is natural to think of starting a family, and to be aware of time.

But, to add to your conflict, you say that you'd love to have a baby with your boyfriend, but not now.

Maybe that is a key to unlocking this preoccupation with having a child.

There is more to having a baby than just your age. A stable relationship (preferably a married one), financial security, and a shared goal with your partner.

Babies are one part of a relationship, or a natural progression of a relationship. Not something to be considered without a solid partner who is in it for the long haul.

I suspect that there is more to this than the biological clock ticking.

Maybe you haven't reached just one fork in the road, but several at the same time?

You need to ask your Family doctor. If he feels there is something wrong he could recommend a therapist.
