    Internet connection pleaz helpp
    I'm trying to activate norton virus scanner I bought at bestbuy, its saying that it cannot connect to the internet, because a plug or cable is unplugged, but I am connected to the internet, obviously because I'm on it now, I go and check my router, nothings unpluged there or on my modem, I click on my network, and it says I'm connected, but then it says local area connection, not connected I go to try and repair it and it says that a cable is unplugged but its not and I don't understand, would I have to uninstall my adapter for my wireless internet and install it again? I'm not sureee

    Check this link and go down till you see Norton 360 (if that is what you purchased) and using Firefox

    What version windows and which Norton product?

    Are you connecting wirelessly or wired connection?

    Its windows vista, and it's a wireless connection, but the router and modem I'm connected to says that there is a cable unplugged, and its not connected, but I am connected to the internet, so I don't know why norton won't connect

    Check to see if your windows firewall has Norton in it's exception list, if not add it

    Try this quick fix from norton
    Cannot connect to the Internet after running LiveUpdate successfully when using Norton Internet Security
