We have a leak on our ceiling floor but we have recently had our flat room refelted. The flat roof ajoining ours is in a bad way and would need down. Our they liable for damage done to our property when the leak is coming from theirs?

Of course the nation you live in will have some bearings as to the law.

But normally if two homes, individually owned are ajoined if the one owner is notified of the problem and refuses to fix it, they may be held liable.

Have you notified them that their leakage is the problem, have you had a professional inspect and give you something in writing that their roof is causing the damage.
