    Can I sue my bank?
I have 3 accounts at one bank. A checking account, a savings account and a joint account with my child's father. I had noticed about a year ago that I stopped getting my savings account statements. Upon investigating, I discovered that my savings account information was attached to the joint account. I was very upset that the bank disclosed my information to a third party without my knowledge or consent. I called them, they apologized for the mistake and fixed it. I got one statement so I thought everything was OK. I don't usually open my savings account statements as they pretty much stay the same, but I was looking for my year end info and discovered that they did it again! The account is re-attached to the joint account. Can I sue them because they disclosed my info to a third party?

Let me put it this way... you can sue anyone for anything... but the problem is finding a good lawyer who will go up against a bank... its a hard fight

Whether you sue them or not I would find a new bank at least for my personal accounts that are not joint accounts.

Banks tend to consolidate accounts any way they can. Get a different bank for the personal accounts you don't want or need mixed up with a third party. What's to sue about? The fact they screwed up again? Nothing to sue about since it was proably their computer's fault due to it's happily consolidating accounts. Happens all the time.

Are you asking what your options are? It's not a good idea to piggyback your question onto someone else's, especially with this thread being from 2008.

Can i sue my bank i had put £280 pounds into my account and i was expecting another 280 from my sis and i thought she had paid it into my account but hsbc made an error and put £280 extra onto my account so i thought my sis put them in for me so i spent 70 pounds and i promised to by other bill payers that i will pay their £210 off i even gave them the seconds days date.

Suddenly the bak realised their error and took the money back and put me into debt i got so depressed and ill as i take depression tablets that i fainted and the doc can provide evidence for that as i living on less money. So now bill payers are after me.

All caps is generally considered impolite on a forum such as this.

And,. Don't you know how to read:

Last time I checked, I do not pray to, worship, hail or praise any bank.

    Gossip is not a virtue.

I assume you mean Wells Fargo when you type "WFbank" and you're right - they can deny anything they want, just the same as I can tell you I don't want to answer your question or don't want to work on your car.

The only thing I find psychotic is your rambling. Do you have a valid question? If so, please create a new thread.

Wells fargo forclosed on my home in 2009 after 8 months of stringing me along telling me they were working on a loan mod. I have a daughter with cysytic fibrosis and I never lost my ability to pay my mortgage. Now they have an independent review for cases like mine but it seems to be going in the direction as the modification process. On and on and on. Can I sue Wells fargo for my house back ir similar compensation.
