    realtek ac 97
    I loaded windows 7 and lost my realtek ac 97 code 10 in my device manager there's a yellow mark next to it I have a v2premier intel p/4 32bit 2 gig I went to the manufactures site but their out of business I also went to the realtek site and successfully downloaded the driver code 6.0.1.6305 and that still didn't work.. on the bottom right of my screen there's a speaker with a red x on it as well what am I missing don't know how to go into my bios so I'm not every site I go to they want 30 dollars or so I pay it if I know it would fix the problem and they all say update your driver well they are updated just not working lol at least that one.. thanks

    Try windows update as this has most of the drivers you will need.

    Windows update did not help says all drivers are updated

    Go back into device manager and uninstall the card, then rescan for hardware changes and let windows sort it out.

    Thank you so much for helping me but I also did that I unstalled all then renstalled still comes up device cannot start code 10 can't system restore ethier won't go back more than a week
