    Why is the HOT water pressure low in my house
    The hot water pressure in my entire house is low... prior to this morning the pressure was fine... now I'm not sure what to do... any ideas, before I call the plumber?

    Try the nearest hot water faucet and tell me if the pressure's any greater?

    Couple of things to check.

    Do you have a water softener(this only applies if only the hot water is softened). If so, put the softener on bypass and see if pressure is better.

    Next, the nipples or delectric unions on top of the water heater may be plugged. In this case, replace them and you should be back in business. Please keep us posted as to what you find. And come on back for any further assistance. Lee.

    That leads me you to suspect that you have heat trap nipples,(see image) installed and one has gone bad. Do you have such nipples installed? Let me know, Tom
