    I recently received direct deposit of my income tax into an account I have jointly w
    I filed my taxes single mom but it was direct deposit into a joint account with my boyfriend he owes back child support they froze the account and claim they will take all the money even my paycheck I now have no money to buy diapers for my own child that was my taxws not my boyfriends money

    If he has a judgement against him you were foolish for depositing any money n that account.

    You will not need to file a motion with the court that issued the judgement to exempt your funds. You will need to prove that the funds are yours.

    I can prove they are mine because I have my returns to show and paycheck stubs

    I can prove they are my funds I have my return forms and my paycheck stubs can I get my money back he pays his support monthly and his tax return gets taking but this is my money my youngest child's money

    Depending on the state you are in it will be very doubtful (like in my state) for you to get your money back. He is joint on the account so for all collection purposes where there is a court order involved all of that money is equally his. You need your own account for your money for it not to be also his.
