    I have a 2stage heating system heatpump, the ac runs fine but, when I switch to heat the unit won't come on

    Bad wiring
    Bad reversing valve
    Out on low refrigerant pressure cut off (Leak)
    Circuit breaker off
    Circuit breaker of fuse blown in outside disconnect.

    Checking all this out will keep you busy for awhile and I hope you find your problem.
