    Zenith 57 inch TV no power
    57 inch projection TV has standby power light dim but on but when oush the

    Just so that you are aware, it helps us a lot if you post as many clear details as possible.

    From what I can understand, it sounds like the lamp may be out. You have power going to the TV (as indicated by the "standby light"). But your TV does not actually power on and remains in the standby state.

    The first thing to try would be to unplug the TV for half an hour or so. Or just to be 100% sure all energy is dissipated from the set, do this before you go to bed.

    Then you will want to plug it in back in. If it still doesn't work, my best guess is the lamp (as that is usually the case with rear projo TVs). Unfortunately, without physically taking a look at the TV there isn't much that can be done.

    You could look into having a repair tech come out to diagnose what is wrong with the set. This usually runs around $150. In most cases if it's anything except the lamp, you are probably better off buying a new TV and throwing the repair costs towards that new set.

    Checked fuse OK checked for swolen cap spotted nonr checked for burnt sign none spotted
