    Making Work Pay Credit
Hello, and thank you for your help.

    I am a resident for tax-purposes.
I have filed the 1040ez in the past, and paid FICA for the last years as well.

Can I claim the $400 "Making Work Pay" on my 1040ez?
I only made about $9000, and my taxable income is $0.
I read in a lot of places that this credit was supposedly adjusted automatically by the employee. How do I know that?

I am really confused if I should place the $400 on line 8 of my 1040ez or not.
I don't want to get in trouble, but don't want o miss the opportunity to get the money is I am officially eligible.

    Thank you so much.
