    Can you put two 12 awg romex in 1 connector leagally
    Does the average romex connector leagally according to the nec have the capabillity to put 2-12 awg in the 1/2 inch romex connector.I am in afghanistan right now

    I cannot speak to Afghanistan's electrical code, but here in the U.S.A. the answer is yes.

    Just for clarification, Romex is a trade name exactly the same as Kleenex is used for Tissue Paper.

    "NM" meaning Non Metallic, is a better description of the cable type.

    Connectors will be rated by UL to handle more than one cable, and what size.
    Best to confirm with the product's datasheet.
