    ge washing machine transmission mounts
We have a very unstable spin cycle. Drum is always off balance regardless of load adjustments. The mounts on the bottom of the washer supporting the whole drum transmission assembly are loose and we are not sure if they should be loose. Two especially are very very loose and the whole assembly rocks from corner to corner and throws the washer forward into the room while on the spin cycle. The machine also makes random loud thumping noises while spinning.

What should the mounts on the bottom of the machine look like? Should they be tight or allow movement, and how much? We have a cracked belt as well.

    Any advice?

    The model # is WWA8310GALWH

    Serial is H2903234G

I took a video of the movement of the mounting plates. Not sure how to upload it, though.
