    Hi,
Perhaps you could simply open a new Word document and choose the Insert option on the Menu bar and then Picture and Clip Art. To do it.
If that is not what you want, then try:
Zamzar - Free online file conversion
To convert it. They upload your file and email you a link shortly to get it. It is all free. There are others that most any search engine will find for you (that is how I found many though I have a bit more complicated requirements.)
    Peace,
    Clarke

What you should be able to do is to drag your jpg file to word and it will imbed itself into the document

What you can try is print the jpg and then scan it as a Word document or pdf format

Don't know if this what result looking for but is an option to try out if possible

Or there is the option of an OCR application like ABBYY fine reader which will scan the image and try to make it into editable text which you can save after scanned with the app into pdf or word - not freeware but an option

I do know what you are trying to do though, I have a similar jpg that I would like to have to a doc file but just have not gone through process of using the software .

Try the link above Zamar if you haven't already, is a useful site
