    Remodeling
    We are finishing our basement and would like a Bar area. What is the best material to use for the counter top?

    The counter top for a bar would be solely your choice.It would depend on the moltif of room.

    I have put in granite,corinan, wood and ceramic tile. Have also made one out of brokenc pieces of tile and sealed it with liquid plastic.
