    Trial balance
    My ledger and balance sheet posting balance. But when it comes to trial balance, it is not balance. The amount vary is same as the profit and loss. Would like to know if I'm wrong somewhere?

    That's because you've got your profit in there twice. Remember that net profit is revenues less expenses. And you have all the revenues and expenses listed, the difference of which is net profit. AND you also have the net profit itself listed. So it's on there twice. A trial balance only lists actual account balances, not "calculations" such as net profit.

    And you should have done this before you did your financial statements. If you had done this first, you wouldn't know what your net profit even was yet, and couldn't have listed it.
