    tax deductions
    I donated a time share to a charitable orginaztion, they sent me a form 8283 showing the value of $19,680, when I do my taxes for 2009 do I have to claim this deduction for all of the $19,680 or can I spread it 0ver 4 or 5 years?

    Provide more info about Form 8283 -- where on the form and for what purpose the amount is reported.

    Donation deduction (if qualified) is itemized deduction. Can be taken only in the year donation is made.
