    80's american horror
    I saw this horror/thriller about 15 - 20 years ago and in the beginning I think the title that came up was 'The Nutcracker part 1' & the only other thing I remember is at the end the Main character is ln some room by himself and they have left him in a wheelchair & sewed up his mouth!. It is definitely a american 80's horror/thriller, this film was in the style of Wickerman/children of the corn. Any help will be greatly appreciated,

    *mustangchristy77* I think you might be referring to one of the storys in *Twilight Zone the Movie* in which this kid has the power to make any wish come true, unfortunetly though this ain't the film I'm after... Thankyou for your quick response though

    The name of the movie is "Nutcracker, An American Horror." I browsed horror movies and found this one. Hope it's the one you're looking for.

    You had me going there for a minute kitkat22 but alas it's not the movie I'm after... I think this horror/thriller was made for t.v but then again I could be wrong, I also remember that the reason they sewed up his mouth at the end was cause he started to know too much of the town's secrets (I also remember that the women in the town were the more dominant charactor's in the film)

    PURUKIVEL You are a star ! If you were in front of me I'd giv you a fat hug! I've been after this movie for years & years, I don't know why I said it may be called 'The nutcracker part1' maybe it was something that was in beginning of the VHS tape that hadn't been recorded over properly. Anyhows you have made my day/week/year! And now I'm off to find a copy.

This movie I believe was done in kind of the old Creepshow & Tales From The Darkside. This horror movie was hosted by either Max Headroom or a MH Knockoff. Im not even shure it was that scary. Max Headroom introduced different tales of terror... it think... My Dad watched this when I was 5.
