Can my mother exclude my husband from her will
I am separated from my husband but still married in law. My mother does not want him to have any benefit from her estate but I think the UK law has changed to force the division of assets to go to all parties including husbands. Is this correct and is there a way to avoid this?

Are you legally separated at this time ? By a courts approval?

If so then you should be safe.

Not legally separated but have been living apart for several years. Thanks for the info on the link you gave above. I have got some useful information from that and can begin to see a way forward.
