    Faint Line-Positive or negative?
Please tell what you think... positive or not? This really isn't a great picture since I took it with my phone but the line is there. No squinting or holding it up to the light.

Yeah I am going to take another one Saturday to see if it has darkened. I took 2 of these and the first was lighter than this one. This is a CVS brand test. Has anyone had the same problem with these tests? I am really crossing my fingers that this is positive! It's driving me crazy with the faint lines though. :(

I'm hoping it is positive for you too!

Was this pic taken within the recommended time to read the test? If not, it could be what is called an evaporation line. Basically meaning a false positive.

Have you tried the digital ones that read "pregnant" or "not pregnant?"

I would try that. They are a little more expensive, but worth every penny.

Yes Mommy ( :) ) I wasn't trying to be flippant, I hope you are pregnant too! :)
The digital tests I find are insainly expensive (at least here in Canada), but the ones that you are taking are insainly annoying! I know I used that type, my positive amrk showed up immediately, and was faint, then went very dark, and then went very faint again.
I went to the doctor and had the blood test done. It was the longest 2 hours of my life!

Yes it was taken within the time. I have seen evap lines before on some tests I have taken in the past but they were always so faint that I had to hold them up to the light to see them and they were also a grey/clear or dent. Can evap lines be the same color as what the positive would really look like? I have never had this problem before. I wish I had a better pic to show you so you could see what I mean a little better. No I haven't tried the digital ones yet but I plan to use one of those this weekend. I want to wait a little longer hoping that maybe if I am pregnant that my hcg will increase more. But you know if its not its not... I will try try again.

Aurora-Haha you are totally right! I am not supposed to start my period until Thursday so maybe I am just jumping the gun. I have to keep telling myself to be patient... I will soon know if I am or not. With my first I waited a month to take a test and it showed up dark positive as soon as the pee hit it! Lol!

    Here is a better pic
I posted a picture of the test I took... this is a better picture. Would you consider this positive or negative? I am really hoping for a positive but I keep getting faint lines and its starting to drive me crazy.

I see two blue lines, but that could be a false positive.

I'm sorry I don't want to commit to a yes or no answer.

You need to get a doctor to confirm.
