    Garnishment of income tax refund
    Currently my wages are being garnished, does this mean they will also garnish my tax refund?

    Depends on who is doing the garnishment.

    If it is the federal or state governments, expect the federal and state refunds to be confiscated and applied to your debt.

    If it is a private garnishment, then probably not.
