    Monobenzone and freckles
    Hi,
I'm looking for anyone else in these forums who is currently, or has in the past used monobenzone creams on their skin.
I'm currently on my 3rd weak of lightening with 20% mono and so far don't seem to have any problems.
So far I've experienced the usual things I've read about, such as the initial burning when you apply the creams, the occasional itchiness, and the drying and peeling of old skin. I can't tell if I see lighter skin yet, at least nothing dramatic, but like I said, I've only been at it for 2-3 weeks.
I wanted to ask specifically if anyone seemed to develop any freckles with the cream. I might just be imagining it or just becoming more conscious of freckles I've already had since I'm paying so much more attention to my skin, but I did notice a few freckles on my neck that I don't really remember being there before.
Naturally, it concerns me somewhat, since mono is a cream that affects skin cells and it's unknown if it has any carcinogenic qualities, so I was wondering if anyone else noticed any new freckles while they were using it.
I would also appreciate just general contacts from Mono users, since I am new to this and it would be helpful to have someone to discuss it all with who is depigging as well.
    Thanks a lot :)
And hopefully I will have good results with it that I can share with all of you when I've reached my goal

Really? Nobody? 38 viewers and not a single response?
What exactly do you got to do to get any feedback around this place
I feel like the invisible man, comments and questions always being ignored

    Hi,
Freckles, never heard of it, is not just old skin? I am using mono, I have the normal depig process, and some areas before it peels gets very dark and wrinkly, then reveal lighter shade and clear skin.
    Best of luck

It depends on what you consider 'freckles'. If you're referring to white or lighter spots appearing, that is just a phase within the process. However, if you mean darker specks appearing (actual freckles referring to reddish melanin pigmentation appearing on more less caucasians), it may just be your body's response, which occurs with various other products as well, including Hydroquinone. I wouldn't come to any guaranteed conclusions this early into the process, but it would be wiser to begin with a lower concetrate, anywhere between 5 and 10%.
