I have been dating this guy for two years until hunting seasoning came around and we didn't see each other for about two months, but we talked almost every day on the phone. Then out of the blue he quit calling and wasn't talk my calls. I went and fronted him about it and he told me that he thought we needed a colling off period, and that he felt like he was been smother. We talked about a lot of things and about the future I told him that I really wanted to work things out and thought that he wanted too. When I left I asked if he wanted to work things out he told me that we will play it my ear. Will I haven't heard from , I have tried to call a couple of times and tex no answer. What should I do. He said that there is no one else.

Either that, or he has lost the ability to use his phone in any way in some freak accident.

I am not trying to be facetious or hurt you. I am trying to show you that you are not holding yourself with much grace. You are a better caliber of person that this and you don't need someone who isn't going to care for you the way you are for them.

If he is interested he can come find you. But I wouldn't hold out hope.

Because you do, you're a person too, and don't deserve to be ignored, lol. There are always other fish in the sea, lol. And if he's not treating you right, you have the right to go fishing! XDD

He has already made it clear that he feels like he is being smothered. Take the advice: one of the biggest "sins" of a dating relationship is needyness.
He doesn't want a girl that calls him every two seconds, or is clingy. Not only have you now experienced a break up because of you are needy and have smothered him clear out of your life, you are reacting to the breakup by smothering him some more- calling and texting.
Give him his space and leave him alone. Start leading your own lives.
