    Thermostat fedders
My fedders thermostat (CNX110T3A) has a 3300 ohm resistor physically connected (not electrically) to the metal coils of the thermostat and seems to be wired to the cooling control. Anyone have an explanation or wiring diagram for this one ?

If it is not electrically connected it makes no difference. What did they do glue it on? Post a picture.

There is a resistor physically mounted to the coil and electrically wired from V (24 volts) to C (cold terminal). Guess the resistor heats the coil while the A/C is off.
