I am being threatned by my unborn child's father, so if I get an abortion he says I have to show him proof or he will have to subpeona the records, can he do this?

You do not have to show him proof of anything, He can try to get a copy of this but I believe in most areas he will not have any standing to get any subpeona, since he has to have a law suit against you to get one.

Assuming you are not married, and in the US, the father does not have any rights what so ever till the child is born in most cases.

Why would he want proof ? Is he afraind you won't and want child support

This man has scared me sooo much, I'm not sure having this baby is the best option if he's just going to use it to hurt me. I DO NOT want an abortion, but am scared because he's let me know if I do have this child he is going to make my life a living hell everyday. I live in Georgia, he's worried I won't get the abortion and tell him I did. He just sees this child as a tool to hurt me, that's all.

In Georgia, he could, if he lived close enough ( in same school district) get up to joint custody, up to 50 percent of the time ( it is his child also) if he files for it. But to be honest most men, don't really want it, but try to threaten and scare the women,

You need to,
Stop talking to him what so ever, no contact, don't take his calls, and don't talk to him.

And there is no reason you ever had to have personal contact with him, and if he has a visit, can require exchange of child be done in police station or fire house where it is safe.

Also all of GA areas have legal aid groups that can help you, Also check with support group of abused women, ( this is emotional abuse)

Personal guess, most men that threaten, don't ever even file for visits, they are more concerned about paying child support for 18 plus years.

He already pays cs for two kids, so I know he would be worried about that, but he would try to take this child, I believe it with all my heart and he would do it just to hurt me. His words to me were "i dont want your baby in a broken relationship", but if I have it he's going to try to get custody. He works with the police department, seems like such a great guy, has a lot going for him. He's 45, I'm 28 and he tries to use his age, and job to... "scare me"... and it works.
