    How to find out or download exact drivers for laptop ?
    I have a laptop, HP presario V6000 Notebook series. Now using Windows XP.
    After the Xp installation, I need the drivers for LAN, modem audio and video etc.
    I know it will available from the HP site. But I need a software like drive scanner or driver magician. But these software asking to register or purchase to use. Please inform me if anybody having the exact software for the download purpose.

    Sometimes entering your Service Tag will tell which drivers you need.
    You may find drivers here:

    Or if you like, post your exact model numbert (Found on the bottom) usually a sticker with V6000tx or something like that, may even have a hyphen with more numbers; I will track down the exact drivers for you?

    I have check the bottom side of the laptop as well as CMOS setup menu.
    But I found that both items it is mentioned as hp presario V6000
    Notebook series.
    Written only presario V6000
