Is very light spotting at 5 week pregnant normal
Hello ladies I am 51/2 weeks pregnant went to doctor today because I have been spotting very lighty for 2 days (not enough spotting to fill a pantyliner) sorry for the tmi. My doctor took blood today and did an u/s we saw something but not to sure if it was the baby. In scheduled to go back on Monday for more blood work to make sure my hcg levels are rising> I am very nervous b/ci experienced a n/m back in sept of last year, and it started the same way. The spotting is bearly there now very light when I wipe. I guess I'm letting my nerves get the best of me, should I be worried or should I just relax because this is normal

Can you use whole words? The because.. n/m... is hard to understand. I am a L&D nurse, I can help you further if you type in complete words with proper punctuation.

I honestly believe that you shuld try your best to relax and take it easy. I know it's easier said than done, but in all honesty if you're going to miscarry, it's going to happen regardless of what you do. I'm not trying to worry you, I'm just saying there's not much point in worrying because it won't change the outcome. Pregnancy can be uncomfortable enough without adding extra stress too it. I think you should be fine hun :D

I believe the short forms the poster was using stood for because = because and n/m = normal miscarriage. At least that's my take on it based on what she wrote, but I could be wrong.

You should relax. Being stressed out and worrying isn't good for pregnant women, and if you are going to have a miscarriage stressing over it won't make it better. Try to take it easy over the weekend and hope for good news from the doctor on Monday.

I understand how that would feel like, scary. Here is a link on statistics. I don't think it is highly likely that you will have another miscarriage just because you had one before:

That's great! Better than not hearing back at all, even better that the levels are higher :D When I miscarried 4 yrs ago, my levels didn't go above a 25, so I totally get where you're coming from. How is the bleeding now? I hope you're feeling better and that this news has calmed you some. Hugs
