My bathroom plug doesn't work. I thought it way dead. When I tested it with a volt meter it's showing only 98 volts. Is my receptacle outlet bad? Thanks.

It could be, but most likely there is a poor connection someplace in the circuit.

Does it work for some items and not others? My son has a similar problem. The outlet worked before, now it won't charge his electric shaver. But when he plugs other items into the outlet, it will sometimes work. I'm also looking for an answer from any one who might know why this is happening... Thanks!
