    Dog with addisons
    My dog was diagnosed with addison's disease about 10 months ago, after collapsing at home. He picked up immediately after starting fludrocortisone, but has never fully recovered in that he hasn't got the energy to go for walks or to play. My question is why does he vomit, without fail every 7-10 days? This is getting worse and the vet has not been able come up with any solution so far and continues to make slight adjustments in his medication to no benefit. He is showing all the signs of untreated addison's despite large amounts of fludrocortisone and some prednisolone. Can anyone please suggest anything?

    Unfortunately, none of us are vets, so I know I am not qualified to give you any advice.

    Guess my first thought is whether your vet has checked his creatinine levels to check kidney function?

    Poorly functioning kidneys raise holy heck with a dog...
