thank you ^_^
I think I love my puter even more now, if that was possible. I accidentally washed and dryed the remote to my computer with my laundry. It came apart and the battery rattled around by itself. I put it back together, and it STILL WORKS! I LOVE apple technology ^_^

Spiders aren't allowed in the living quarters of my home. However, if they're in the basement or the garage, I'll generally leave them alone.

Personally I like spiders. I find that too many people are only afraid of them because they think they're supposed to be, or the fear was instilled in them as children.
Remember, my ex is an entomologist, so I get to hear a lot about our insect friends. Every year he does a bug fair. He also does a fair where part of the museum is all spiders, you can walk among them, see them spinning their webs, even watch them being fed. I wish I could go at least once. One day I will.
The fact is, there aren't that many venomous spiders out there. The chances of running into one are so slim you have better odds winning the lottery.
Just read Charlotte's Web, spiders are cool! :)

I'm reading it to my daughter. We read a few chapters every night.
I loved that book as a child, now I get to enjoy it again through my child's eyes.
It really is a good story. :)

I don't mind spiders. I usually just pot them back outside. Ones as big as my fist, however, just freak me out. Camping with wolf spiders the size of softballs that jump out of trees and off the ground onto you, gives you a healthy respect for large bugs.

HH, where the heck do you go camping that there are wolf spiders the size of softballs jumping on you?

Where would you be that that sort of thing would happen, please?

I remember being read the book when I was in grade school.
A number of years ago, I was a substitute teacher for a combined second and third grade class where the teacher had been reading it to them. We were almost to the end of the book, but I decided to leave the ending for the teacher to finish.

We're half way through. Sydney is in grade two and she's really getting into reading. She's a bit frustrated though because the books she can read are too boring for her but the chapter books she wants to read are just too hard at this point. Charlotte's web is about her level right now and she's really enjoying it.
She'd be able to read the book herself at this point but it's our way to spend some time together before bed time and share the love of a good book.

I love getting into a kids book while sitting in front of a heat register at night in the wintertime!
I suppose that's just the "teacher" in me, though...

We snuggle up in my bed, under my blanket, a pillow behind our heads to prop us up.
That's the mom in me. I love spending time with them. They're just great little people. I'm blessed. :)
I better get to bed, it's already 12:45am. I didn't realize it had gotten so late.
Good night everyone, sleep tight. :)
