    Correcting a writ of execution
My partner and I recently lost a lawsuit in which the court ordered him liable for $45,000. And of that amount, I am liable for $15,000. The winners have now filed a Writ or execution against me for the full $45,000. Total and I fear they are going to start wage garnishment soon based on that figure. They do reply to phone calls or letters. How can I make them correct the Writ?

Go back to the court that issued the writ and ask that it be vacated or corrected.
